Why Do I Feel So Drained?

29 May

Spirit is the life force, the vital energy that fuels all life. Spirit is the spark or the portion of the Divine Source that’s in every living thing. It has a consciousness of its own.

In eastern traditions, the spirit force is known as “Chi” (prana in Sanskrit) and is referred to as Ti or Ki in Hawaiian. While we may think we’re all uniquely distinctive individual souls, in fact there’s a commonality that binds us all together – a spiritual force.

One of my favorite sayings is: “Imagine yourself as a being of energy and light – because in reality … you are!”  So many people don’t realize that we are in fact energetic sentient beings and we often forget just how precious and important this vital energy is to our body as well as our soul.

Here’s a brief summary of Chi:

  • Your Chi carries your thoughts, beliefs, and emotions while mixing with the energy around you.
  • You radiate Chi all around you, sending out your thoughts, beliefs, and emotions.
  • You can change your Chi internally by activities such as meditation, stretching, or breathing.

In my book ‘Power Of The Soul,’ I write about the energetic cords that emanate from us and become attached to both things and people that we think about excessively. The longer we think about something – the thicker the cord becomes, which can be draining our energy. I call this ‘Soul Leakage.’ In other words, it’s when the spirit force within us seeps away from our soul instead of infusing it.

Many times you might say to yourself: “I feel so drained!” but even though you got enough sleep and rest, somehow you still feel tired. Yes, if it persists, it’s always wise to get a medical check-up but you might want to ask yourself: “What cords are attached to me?” Maybe you have an unfinished project that you keep putting off, excessive worrying about something that is beyond your control, taking on the problems of a friend, relationship or family issue, etc. All of these create a leakage of your Chi, and once you deal with the cords and see where they can be cut safely and dealt with accordingly, the more energy there will be for you.

It is possible to bring that vital energy back into you. When I need a boost of spirit, Chi (that wonderful life force), I go and exercise, go the beach and breathe, or do something that I love – something that will infuse my soul with that Chi once again. When was the last time you did something for yourself, something that you love doing, something that infuses your soul?

This week I want you to take a few moments and think back to a time when you were doing something that you really enjoyed, when time just seemed to fly by, a time when you had boundless amounts of energy. Isn’t it time – no matter what it was – to do that again?

Maybe it’s time to consider taking an exercise class, a dance class, practicing Tai Chi or even joining a meditation class. These are just a few suggestions that will bring that vital energy back into your soul and revitalize your body, mind as well as your soul.

Another great idea is to always remember breath is power! The human body is sustained by the same prana (energy) that nourishes the universe. With normal breathing, we inhale and exhale a regular amount of prana. When depleted of prana we often complain about feeling tired or unwell. Go to the mountains, a forest, or anywhere where there’s greenery. Breathe in slowly and deeply to a steady rhythm. By controlling and regulating your breathing, it’s possible to bring in more of this valuable, yet vital energy source.

Please don’t be one of those people who say: “When I have time, I will do something.” Those are the people who rarely ever get around to it. Your time is so precious here in this physical world. Remember you’re a spiritual being having human experiences – so honor all of you.

Take the time for you – your soul – your body – and your life. After all, aren’t you worth it?

Live a Soul-filled life!

25 de mayo de 2017: Luna Nueva en Géminis, abriendo caminos…

25 May

Hack Your Mind: How Perception Creates Reality

23 May

Perspective Is Everything

Every person lives in two different worlds: the world of ultimate reality and the world of subjective reality. Ultimate reality represents the “whole truth” of the universe from a macro level, a micro level, and everything in between. The full scope of ultimate reality is greater than the human mind (and even, at this stage, our best science) is capable of perceiving. At any given time, we only perceive a small fraction of ultimate reality, defined by our perspective, which becomes our interpretation of the world – our subjective reality.

Subjective reality is the world we perceive on a daily basis. It is a selective interpretation of ultimate reality filtered through personal experience and five-sense perception. Everybody has a different subjective reality. None is totally right and none is totally wrong. If 100 people walk into the same room, there will be 100 different interpretations of the room. I may notice the sound of music playing and the voices of people talking. You might notice the smell of food cooking and the color of the walls. Each variation of the experience (our subjective reality) will tell part of the story, but none will tell the full story.

Hacking Our Perception

Reality is created by focus. Wherever we focus our perception, a personal experience takes shape. When we shift our perception, we will inevitably experience a different world. Think of ultimate reality as the full spectrum of radio frequencies. Our focus is the dial that dictates which frequency we access. This is why it has been said that thoughts create our reality. Thoughts are the mirror that determines which version of reality is reflected back to us.

The Ego limits our perception (and therefore limits our lives) by focusing on narrow, fear-based beliefs. Our Higher Self, by contrast, expands our perception (and therefore expands our lives) by focusing on empowering beliefs. Following are five limiting beliefs of the Ego, and affirmations from the Higher Self to hack the mind toward a frequency that is healthy, happy, and purposeful.

1. According to the Ego, happiness is a goal that must be earned

So we work and strive, and yet happiness remains out of reach. The biggest obstacle to our happiness is the belief that we don’t deserve to be happy. In truth, happiness is not the end result of our efforts – rather, it is our core nature, the state of being that remains when we strip away everything unnatural and forced. True happiness is without

condition, the state of gratitude and enjoyment in each passing moment.

2. The Ego says that achieving success requires us to play roles that are contrary to our nature

We need to be ambitious, aggressive, manipulative, perfect, and always confident. This belief causes us to distort ourselves into a status quo-shaped box. In doing so, we stunt the growth of our inner genius. When we realize that we don’t need to be anything other than ourselves, a huge weight is taken off our shoulders. We can stop trying so hard and simply be.

3. According to the Ego, the nature of the world is dog-eat-dog

Resources are scarce and another’s gain is a loss for me. The truth is that each person has a unique dharma, a unique path, and another’s success does not interfere with my own. I used to worry that I would never find my purpose. My Ego told me that I needed to struggle to survive. But when we choose to view life through a lense of trust rather than doubt, our purpose is already waiting. We must only step toward it.

4. Dreams and imagination, according to the Ego, are stupid and irresponsible

Our Ego does not approve because imagination has the power to see beyond our limiting beliefs. Everyone is blessed with an antennae that can receive signals from beyond our conscious mind. This is a huge advantage. When we connect with imagination we receive guidance that would not be available by logic alone. Nothing can exist unless it can first be imagined. Therefore imagination is an important step to achieving any goal.

5. Fear is normal. Every time we try something new, fear is part of the package

The Ego tells us that fear is a signal to stop, that it’s not worth the risk. But fear is actually our inner child, the frightened part of ourselves that needs encouragement. Instead of allowing fear to stop us, we should take it as a signal to trust ourselves more. When we play it safe, we never learn anything. Magic happens whenever we face fear and decide to press on anyway.

Maha Chohan – Great Lord

17 May

As the Representative of the Holy Spirit, the Maha Chohan embodies the white light of all the rays and teaches the sevenfold balance of the rays of the Seven Mighty Elohim, which in turn manifest upon the brow of the initiate as a crown of crystal light when that God-mastery of the seven rays is reached.

The Maha Chohan is a very present help to all who call to him. Because of his pledge to all mankind “I am keeping the flame for you until you are able,” this truly Great Lord is called the Keeper of the Flame. He is the endower of Christ-mastery through the disciplines of right choice and right action—patterned after the eightfold path of Lord Gautama Buddha, which parallels the path taught and demonstrated by Jesus Christ.

These disciplines are accomplished through the mastery of free will, of the desires and the desire body, and of the path of the Sacred Heart and the Ruby Ray as the initiate balances the threefold flame and attains equilibrium in the white light of the seven rays in his chakras. Engaging in service to Community—the world body of Lightbearers—by the engagement of one’s forces, body, mind and soul, is the means to accomplish this goal.

Representative of the Holy Spirit

The Maha Chohan is the representative of the Holy Spirit. The one who holds this office in hierarchy represents the Holy Spirit of the Father-Mother God, of Alpha and Omega, to the evolutions of this planet and to the elemental kingdom. The retreat of the Maha Chohan, the Temple of Comfort, is located on the etheric plane with a focus in the physical at the island of Sri Lanka, where the flame of the Holy Spirit and the flame of Comfort are anchored. His twin flame is Pallas Athena, Goddess of Truth.

Maha Chohan means “Great Lord,” and the Maha Chohan is the Great Lord of the seven chohans, the director of the seven chohans of the rays. Among the qualifications for this office in hierarchy is the attainment of adeptship on each of the seven rays, which merge into the pure white light of the Holy Spirit. With the seven chohans, he initiates our souls in preparation to receive the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit, spoken of in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11.

Since the Spirit of God infuses nature and man as the life-giving essence of the sacred fire, the representative of the Holy Spirit must be qualified to interpenetrate all substance through the diffusion of his consciousness and also to draw forth the flame that sustains life in man and nature through the focalization of his consciousness.

The element that corresponds to the flame of the Holy Spirit is oxygen. Without that element, neither man nor elemental life could continue their service. The consciousness of the Maha Chohan is, therefore, comparable to the Great Central Sun Magnet. He focuses the magnet upon the planet that draws to the earth the emanations from the sun that are required to sustain life.

The Power of the I AM Presence

Finally, the Maha Chohan prepares the Christed one for the empowerment by the Lord, the Mighty I AM Presence, of “the all power in heaven and in earth.” Conferred through Maitreya, this initiation was acclaimed by our Lord and Saviour when he gave the great commission to his disciples:

All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I AM with you alway, even unto the end of the world.

Initiations of the Seven Chakra through the Seven Chohans of the Rays

Truly, the key to Christhood through loving obedience to Father and Son is fulfilled in the disciple’s acceptance of Jesus’ calling to be a mediator of the Word and Work of the Lord. Mirroring His consciousness that all might see His reflected image, the disciple is readying himself to receive the chakra initiations of the Holy Spirit given by the hand of the Maha Chohan through the Seven Chohans according to the degrees of the seven rays.

These initiations are the measured steps and stages of the soul’s preparation to receive and put on the graces of the nine gifts—first as a bridal veil, her pure conception of the quality, virtue, and vibration of each gift, and then as the wedding garment, the full awareness and infilling of the flame of the gift and its application in her ministrations to life.
Dove of the Holy Spirit by Tiffany
The seven chohans acquaint her with the powers, principalities and angelic hosts of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit as she diligently applies herself to the putting on of the graces, even as each gift bestowed is beautified by her special qualification of the rays.

While this training is taking place, the Maha Chohan strengthens the fibers of the spirit in his role as counselor, comforter and enlightener, laying firm foundations for the rainbow spheres to descend in concentric rings of Light, coalescing the aura of the causal body around the central sun of the heart chakra here below, as Above. Tenderly the Great Lord shows each bride of Christ how to fill in the rough places and make them plain for the mirroring of the Holy Spirit’s healing presence to all life.

And for those who have the understanding of the Inner Light (to use a Quaker term), we will say that the bestowal of the nine gifts is, by definition, the transfer of the initial matrix of the power of the three-times-three which the disciple must learn to wield, enhancing it through the balanced threefold flame and the science of the spoken Word.

The Maha Chohan is Present at Your Birth and Death

The Maha Chohan ministers to every person on earth as we enter this world and as we exit it. At the moment of that birth, he is present to breathe the breath of life into the body and to ignite the threefold flame that is lowered into manifestation in the secret chamber of the heart.

The Maha Chohan also attends at the transition called death, when he comes to withdraw the flame of life and to withdraw the holy breath. The flame, or divine spark, returns to the Holy Christ Self, and the soul, clothed in the etheric body, also returns to the level of the Holy Christ Self.

The Maha Chohan’s Previous Lifetimes

The Maha Chohan was embodied as the blind poet Homer, whose epic poems, the Iliad and the Odyssey, include his twin flame, Pallas Athena, as a central figure. The Iliad tells the story of the last year of the Trojan War, while the Odyssey focuses on the return home of Odysseus—one of the heroes of the Trojan War.

Historically, little is known about Homer, but most scholars believe he composed his poems in the eighth or ninth century BC. Even at that time, Homer attuned his consciousness with the comfort flame, and the radiance he sustained with the focus of his own heart flame was a great blessing to elemental life.

In his final embodiment as a shepherd in India, the light that he quietly drew forth kept the flame for millions of lifestreams. He gained his mastery by consecrating his four lower bodies as a chalice for the flame of the Holy Spirit and his consciousness as a step-down transformer for the emanations of Sanat Kumara, the Ancient of Days.

Awaken the Light Within and Change Yourself and Your World

The Maha Chohan will minister to you at every crossroad in life, if you will but pause for a moment when making decisions, think of the Holy Spirit and simply say the mantra, “Come, Holy Spirit, enlighten me.”

How To Live Your Life From Your Soul’s Perspective

14 May

Do you know how much of a miracle you truly are? Many people come to my events in the hopes of connecting to a soul on the Other-Side, but I always try to leave them with this reminder: To not forget you are also a soul in the here and now. The source that makes all living things in the universe is also the same source that’s inside of you. This Divine Source interacts and is connected with the whole of you, which means your body, mind, and soul.

To honor your divinity, to live a spiritual and physical life of happiness, serenity, abundant health, and to experience a loving and successful relationship, it’s important to understand and to get to know your true essence – your soul. You must begin to reach inwards to meet your soul, to move through all the layers of what’s been built up inside and around you over the years.

Once you discover and meet your soul-self, you’ll radiate pure light, confidence, courage, strength, and unconditional love for yourself and others. As you live and view your life from your soul’s perspective, you’ll start to appreciate yourself as a divine being and gain a deeper appreciation and awareness of the soul essence in others.

Everything in the world is based on the inner consciousness of man. Always remember, that one person (that means you) can make all the difference. You are a soul, so believe and know that you do have power and you do matter in this collective universe.

The more you connect with your soul, the more you’ll remember your divine nature. This week, try to honor yourself by spending some quiet time in contemplation, prayer, meditation, journaling, or even a slow walk outdoors in nature (without the iTunes blazing in your ears), whether it’s first thing at dawn or as the sun’s setting. It can be a walk on the beach or a stroll through the woods, or spending time working on a creative project, or simply doing something that you love.

By doing this you will begin to tap in to your divine inner-self where you can meet, blend, talk, and listen to your soul. It’s waiting for you.

Live a Soul-filled life!
